Ferry strike in Greece, 30 October 2026

A 24-hour strike by three seafarers' unions (PEMEN, Stefenson and PENEN) kept ships in port at Piraeus, Rafina, Lavrio, Patras, Igoumenitsa, Elefsina and Rio-Antirrio. The unions were asking for new collective agreements, higher pay and better crewing and safety.
